Bayshore Market is in an old former gas station where owners, Linda and Paul Schobben created this wonderful neighborhood market. The outside and greenhouse are filled with beautiful flowers and planters, some of which you don’t normally see. Below is an unusual lavender plant that isn’t quite as fragrant as regular lavender but it makes up for it in flowers and pretty foliage.
I went and picked blueberries here this year and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had picking blueberries. First of all no bending over! All of the blueberries are in pots and it makes it so easy. Sharon and Ron even give you belts to tie the plastic containers on around your waist so you can pick with both hands and there are so many blueberries here it works out really well.
I had so much fun visiting this store today in St. Petersburg. I can’t wait to go back. When you walk in the door the smells are amazing, fresh roasted coffees, breads are freshly baked everyday and fresh mozzarella cheese that is made that morning is available too. They make their own sausage and I bought 3 different varieties to put on the grill tomorrow.

I found this gem of a farm right in my own backyard so to say and I was so excited when I realized what this place really was. I went to Ruskin a few weeks ago looking for fresh vegetables.
