Bring your walking shoes if you are coming here. This place is enormous! It just keeps going and going.
These pictures just don’t even begin to show what this place is all about. Wagon Wheel Flea Market has been in business since 1966! According to their website they have over 1.100 vendors. There are a lot of people selling new things but outside is where you have the weekend people who bring everything and anything.
I spent about 3 hours here yesterday and did not see it all. It was a really pleasant morning for being June in Florida. All of the buildings I were in had giant fans to circulate the air so it wasn’t bad to stroll thru the market. There is a big concession area and when I paid my $1.00 for parking I was giving coupons for a free hot dog or drink with a purchase.
There was also entertainment yesterday, there was a Christian band in the back outside who sounded pretty good and a lady entertainer at the front who also was singing Christian Country Music.
Next door to the Wagon Wheel Flea Market is the Mustang Flea Market. When you pay for the parking you are also given a coupon. I found that was in case I went to the Mustang Ranch so I could park there. You really want to do this if you are going to take advantage of the fabulous deals on all the fresh produce, seafood, vegetable plants and flowers. You really do not want to be carrying it back to the other area. This area also gives you good access to the outside vendors.
